The Black Sea Shore Excursion Tour Operator “Select Black Sea Ltd.” took part in World Travel Market 2007 held from 12 till 15 November, 2007 in London. Sergey Pryadko, Managing Director represented SBS services as a travel agent in the Black Sea offering shore excursion in six countries for cruise tourists: Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, and Russia. In the course of WTM there were carried negotiations with top managers of the leading cruise & yachts operators, tour agents, and travel companies.
Promoting the whole Black Sea as a destination in the British Market SBS focused on the sightseeing programs of particular interest for the British tourists in Sevastopol, brand new tour product in Odessa, developing new less traveled destinations in the Black Sea, etc.At World Travel Market a special issue of SBS corporate brochure announced Kerch and Eupatoria as new potential ports of call for cruise vessels of special interest on the coast of the Crimean Peninsular. These two cities officially enlisted by UNESCO as Eternal Cities of the World now open the doors to their sights for cruise tourists.
At WTM in London Sergey Pryadko also presented a number of luxury services for super yachts, new approaches to shore excursion operations and implementing international quality standards of work.
Taking into consideration that 2008 year has been proclaimed Year of Tourism in Ukraine, and Crimea is the priority tourism destination of the country WTM was also visited by the Crimean Official Delegation. Among the delegates there were Victor Plakida (Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), Mikhail Bakharev (Vise Speaker of the Crimean Parliament) and Igor Kotlyar (Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea).
