Begin your tour with a short drive to St. Sophia Museum. Trabzon St. Sophia Church which serves as a museum today was constructed in the reign of Manuel Comnenos I (1238-1263). On the west of the church are the remains of a chapel with three apses which is supposed to have belonged to an earlier period. After visit of St Sophia Church you will have two hours bus drive to Uzungol Plateau which is considered as a gift of nature.

You will have short orientation tour before lunch at a local restaurant. Uzungol (Long Lake in Turkish) is a village and lake situated to the south of the city of Trabzon. The area is most famous for its natural beauty. Located in a valley between high rising mountains, the lake and village appear inaccessible at first. The surrounding greenery of the mountain forests and the fog that occasionally envelopes the lake at night also add to the mystic scenery of the area. Your tour will terminate after two hours drive back to the pier.
