Explore the architecture of Kiev during this memorable tour of the Ukrainian capital. After your morning flight from Odessa to Kiev, you will be met upon arrival and depart for the brief drive to the Kiev-Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery, built in the Ukrainian Baroque style and founded in 1051 by the monks Antoniy and Feodosiy to help promote the spread of Christianity. During a guided tour of the monastery, you will have an opportunity to explore its ancient caves.

Proceed to a local restaurant for lunch accompanied by a folk performance. From here, your tour of Kiev continues with a drive to the Old Town. Along the way, you will take in wonderful exterior views of the University, Taras Schevchenko Opera & Ballet Theater, and the Golden Gate, the historic main gateway into the ancient city.

You will also see the newly-renovated Michael's Cathedral, and visit the entrance to St. Sophia Cathedral. As your day in Kiev comes to a close, you will stop at a local restaurant for a cup of coffee or tea before being transferred to Kiev Airport for your return flight to Odessa. You will be met upon arrival in Odessa.
